NEBC Workshop: Resilient Design for Sediment and In-Water Construction Projects: ensuring Today Benefits Tomorrow

This seminar will discuss the role that resiliency plays in the development of designs for sediment remediation and in-water construction projects in the Pacific Northwest. Panelists from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ), and the Nisqually Indian Tribe will present technical and conceptual perspectives on resiliency in sediment and in-water construction design.

The Department of Toxic Substances Control’s (DTSC) workshop on Chemicals in Motor Vehicle Tires is next week. You can register using the links below. 

The purpose of this workshop is to solicit information on all three topics. The workshop will be held online via webcast (please register to receive the Zoom link). The agendas and supporting documents are now available on the SCP Workshop and Events page

Comment Periods Extended 

DTSC is extending two comment periods, accessible at the links below, until Friday, September 17th 

The comment period for the Motor Vehicles Containing Zinc proposal remains unchanged and will close on Friday, August 6th.
